Built for the low desert

Plenty of Chandler yards were designed as if they were somewhere else: grass where grass does not belong, plants that cook against a west wall by their second July, sprinklers running the same eight minutes in December that they run in June.

We plan around the conditions we actually have. Desert-adapted plants placed for the sun they will get, grading done before anything decorative goes in, drip zoned so new plants and established ones are not sharing a schedule, and timers reset as the seasons change. It costs the same to do it in the right order.

Common questions

Do you charge for estimates?

No. We come out, walk the yard with you, and send a written quote with the scope spelled out. Call (480) 738-6767 to get on the schedule.

How much does landscaping cost in Chandler?

Recurring lawn care is a flat monthly rate based on lot size and how often we visit. Project work like a front yard desert conversion or a full backyard build is quoted per job after we see the property. You get the number in writing before anything starts.

Should I replace my grass with desert landscaping?

Out front, usually yes. Turf in the low desert wants water through a 110 degree summer and browns out anyway. A desert landscape costs far less to run and looks the same in July as it does in January. Plenty of clients go desert in front and keep a smaller patch of real grass or artificial turf out back for kids and dogs.

How often should I water in Chandler?

Deep and infrequent, and it changes with the season. Established desert plants want water roughly every 10 to 14 days in winter and every 3 to 5 days in summer, running long enough to soak down a foot or two rather than a quick daily sprinkle. New plants need more until they root in. We reset timers seasonally for maintenance clients.

When is the best time to plant?

October through March. Planting in the cool months gives roots time to establish before the heat. Overseeding for a green winter lawn goes down around mid-October. Summer planting works but needs more water and closer attention.

Do you work with HOA rules?

Yes. Much of Chandler has an approved plant palette, granite color list and rules about front yard turf. Tell us your community and we will design inside those guidelines and give you a plant list and layout you can submit for approval.
